Jiu Jitsu Summer Clinic (Youth)

Our youth summer clinics are perfect for beginners with no experience, or for the active competitor who is looking to immerse themselves in jiu-jitsu this summer. We mix in fun games along with thoughtful martial arts instruction.

BOYS & GIRLS | AGES 7-12

JIU JITSU CAMP DATES 2024:

Monday through Friday, 930 am–1230 pm

$245 per week*

*Children ages 5 & 6 may be considered but must come in for evaluation for class readiness.

THE ULTIMATE JIU-JITSU SUMMER FOR YOUR KIDS!

SELF-DEFENSE

Your child will learn essential self-defense techniques, giving them confidence and courage. The foundation of our technique is grounded in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

JIU-JITSU

Every student will learn jiu-jitsu techniques that are the foundation of our school teachings. Front rolls, hip escapes, sweeps, submissions, take-downs, how to fall properly, to name just a few!

FITNESS & STRETCHING

We teach long term knowledge and skills in fitness so the kids can take what they learn and apply to a healthy lifestyle, no matter where they are. They will also learn proper stretching techniques to encourage flexibility and prevent injury.

SMALL GROUPS

Our summer clinics have limited space available. This allows us to give personalized attention to each student, to customize their learning. There will be a maximum of 10 students in the program.

INDOOR/AC

Our students will stay within our Air Conditioned facilities at all times. We do not leave the facility. Our student stay cool and comfortable, out of the hot Florida sun!

WEEKLY CERTIFICATES

Each week will feature a new theme and topic for the students to discuss. They will learn about Leadership, Perserverance, Healthy Body & Mind, and Anti-Bullying. Each week they will receive a certificate of completion in the topic covered.

COMPETITION POINTS & SCORING

During the week we will review basic jiu-jitsu tournament/competition points and scoring. This will give students the opportunity to be competition ready!

GAMES & FUN!

While martial arts and fitness will be the focus of our summer clinics, there will be no short of fun! Students will have time for games and fun, including a LEGO creation day, Pokemon Trading Card Day, Laser Tag, and more!

CLINIC DETAILS

ATTIRE / WHAT TO BRING

Attire:

Kids need to wear comfortable athletic clothing (t-shirt and leggings/sweat pants/athletic shorts).

Flips flops/slides recommended for ease of getting on and off the mat.

A Gi is not required for these sessions.

What to Bring Everyday:

Filling Snacks - This is a high-energy camp. Kids will need a few filling snacks to get them through the morning (i.e. granola bars, fruit, etc.)

Water Bottle

Backpack - To hold their stuff

Please note, there are snack times, but no lunch time.

PICK UP / DROP OFF

Pick-up/Drop-off:

5482 W SAMPLE RD, MARGATE, FL 33073

Drop Off begins at 9:15AM.

Pick-up by 12:30PM.

Late pickup fee of $15 plus $1 per minute, will be assesed for late pickups, and charged to the card on file. A one time 10 minute grace period is allowed.

Parents/Guardians must come in to check students in and out.

A list of all person(s) able to pickup students must be left with staff, and ID must be available.

Please do not drop off sick children. They will not participate in class and will be sent home!

CANCELLATION

Cancellations received before April 1st, 2024, will receive a refund minus a $35 processing fee per week registered. Cancellations after April 1st, 2024, will receive a gym credit minus 25% processing fee. The credit may be applied toward membership tuition. No refunds/cancellations after May 6th, 2024.
